Two children were removed from a home in Muhlenberg County after authorities say they found a meth lab and two adults were arrested on various drug charges.
An anonymous tip led officers to Plum Street in search of Timmy Anderson. Deputies say they found Anderson hiding in the attic near a meth lab. Authorities also found several components that are used to manufacture methamphetamine as well as suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies arrested Anderson and Melissa Harper, who was also at the home at the time. During the investigation, two children were removed from the home and placed in the care of Social Services.
Anderson was charged with Controlled Substance Endangerment to a Child, Tampering With Physical Evidence, Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.
Harper was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of a Controlled Substance First Degree and Controlled Substance Endangerment to a Child.
Both Anderson and Harper were lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
