A Cleveland mother was convicted for what she did with her kids while she went shopping and left the kids behind.
Mother, Elexcia Turner, struck a plea deal for leaving kids in the car as she went shopping.
How many times have you heard warnings about this? Yet it just happened, again.
Court records show Turner left her car with her 5-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter alone in the car.
The incident happened at 77th and St. Clair in Cleveland.
Turner was arrested and charged with child endangering.
We've seen cases just like this one in the past. We saw a mom arrested for leaving kids in a car in August, too. But, that mother went through a first offenders program and had her record wiped clean
Records show turner got a small fine, probation, and orders for parenting classes.
Court documents also say Turner had other warrants and a suspended license.
Now, she has a record for leaving kids in the car, too.
