Malzahn, Franklin, enter Browns' wish list

Posted: Updated:

CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason LaCanfora reports that the Browns want to talk to two of the better coaches in college football about their coaching opening.

Auburn's Gus Malzahn is considered one of the top offensive minds in college football. He's lead high powered offenses at Tulsa and Auburn as an offensive coordinator, this year he is Auburn's head coach and has lead them to the National Championship game against Florida State.

James Franklin has guided Vanderbilt to three consecutive bowl games and two straight eight-win seasons. Vandy plays in the SEC with much higher acadmeic requirements than a lot of schools, Franklin's achievements are considered outstanding because of that.

The Browns interviewed Seattle Seahawks Defensive Coordinator Dan Quinn on Wednesday.
