Firefighters were called out around 5:30 a.m. to the scene on Bluff City Newman Rd. in Reed.
Officials say when crews arrived they found the mobile home engulfed by flames.
Firefighters were able to get the fire under control and were putting out hot spots when our crew arrived.
Fire officials tell us a man had been living in the home, but recently moved to Henderson. However, his dogs were still there and his daughter had been coming to feed and take care of them. Both dogs died in the fire. No other injuries were reported.
