'Avant Garden' Spring Floral Show at Krohn Conservatory

Possibly the best smelling spot in town. You'll find a variety of exotic spring bulbs, fragrant shrubs and bright annuals not typically found in the common spring garden. We're talking red crown imperials, twisted grasses, water hyacinths, brilliant blue delphiniums and even black tulips. I actually don't know what any of those look like.

Jungle Jim's Barrel Aged Beer Bash

A festival welcoming beer enthusiasts with an appreciation for the darker side of beer. Try rare barrel aged creations from several different breweries from across the country inside the Oscar Event Center.

Mascot Broom Ball at Fountain Square

Bring your family down for an epic broomball showdown between Cincinnati's favorite mascots. Just some of the characters you'll see - Mr. Redlegs, Flying Pig, XU's Blue Blob and even P&G's Charmin Bear. Meet & greet opportunities before and after the game. And it's free.

Details: Saturday beginning at 11:30 AM. 520 Vine St., Downtown. www.myfountainsquare.com.

Prohibition Party at Rhinegeist

Break out the top hats, canes and zoot suits and get ready to party like it's 1929. Sip some Rhinegeist brews while enjoying music by the 9-piece party horn band, The Cincy Brass. There's even a Flapper/Dapper Contest for the best dressed.

Details: Saturday at 8 PM. No cover. 1910 Elm St., Over-the-Rhine. www.rhinegeist.com.
