It was a busy night for Kansas City police after three shootings and four victims, including one who has died.
Police were called about 3:25 a.m. Sunday after someone heard the sound of gunshots near 15th and McGee streets.
A witness told police that a verbal argument broke out between the victim, the witness and the suspect after they attempted to enter Retro Night Club. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot the victim, police said.
The witness then drove the victim to an area hospital where he died. His name has not been released.
Two hours earlier, another shooting was reported at East 18th Street and Highland Avenue.
Officers say two men were shot, each in the leg. Both are expected to be OK.
The victims say some men shot at them for talking to a few women in a parking lot.
Another shooting was reported about 1:30 a.m. at East 39th Street and Jackson Avenue after officers nearby heard the gunshots.
The victim drove himself to the hospital. He is said to be in critical condition.
So far, police have made no arrests in either of these shootings.
