After a surprising end to the 2014 recruiting trail that earned LSU the number two ranked class in the nation, momentum hasn't stopped for the Tigers.
Les Miles and LSU added two more verbal commitments this week, to what is now the number one ranked 2015 class by 247Sports.
The Tigers first commitment of the week came Tuesday night from David Ducre of Mandeville. The 6-0', 228 pound, 3-star linebacker/running back from Lakeshore High School is considered to be the number one fullback in the country.
Ducre also had offers from Louisiana Tech, UL-L and Southern Miss.
The good news did not stop there. Wednesday morning West Feliciana wide receiver Jazz Ferguson also verbally committed to the Tigers.
Ferguson is a 4-star recruit who picked LSU over Louisiana Tech, UL-L and Houston.
The 2015 class already boasts two 5-star recruits with Kevin Tolliver II and Maea Teuhema – the number one and number three ranked players in the country.
Teuhema is the younger brother of Sione Teuhema who flipped to LSU from Texas on signing day.
Also committed to the Tigers is University Lab running back Nick Brossette and Central safety Kevin Henry.
