TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -
A street in downtown Toledo is back open after an incident at The Toledo Club Friday afternoon.
During maintenance on the facility's pool, chlorine was spilled in the athletic area of the Toledo Club on 14th Street. The smell of chlorine affected two people. One was treated at the scene, while the other was taken to the hospital. No word on conditions at this time.
The spill was cleaned up and the building has been cleared of any chemical hazard. According to Club President John Fedderke, an inspection was conducted by the Health Department, and the club has reopened.
