Cleveland (WOIO) - 57 games down, 25 to go, and while the Cavaliers are 13 games under .500, they're also just five games out of a playoff spot in the woeful Eastern Conference. Can they make a push?
"Do I still think we have a chance? Yeah, I do, but every time we lose we're slipping a little more", head coach Mike Brown said on Monday following practice.
"I think it speaks for itself. Hopefully we can string some games together and keep fighting for a spot as opposed to going the other way."
The Cavaliers have dropped two straight, including Sunday's loss to the Washington Wizards, following a six-game win streak.
"We've had a sense of urgency maybe about 10 games ago", forward Luol Deng said. "We're trying to pick it up."
The Cavaliers host Toronto on Tuesday, then travel to Oklahoma City for Wednesday night's game against the Thunder.
