Walmart is recalling an interactive doll for young children because the chest of the doll can heat up, posing a burn hazard.

Recalled dolls include those labeled "My Sweet Love" and "My Sweet Baby Cuddle Care Baby Doll." The US Consumer Product Safety Commission says the circuit board of the doll can overheat, causing the doll's chest to become hot. The commission says the doll can get so hot it could burn children, or anyone handling the doll.

Kristin Rich says she burned herself on the doll after her daughter complained it was making a strange noise.

"I grabbed it to turn the switch off from the back and the piece in its chest that makes the noise was red hot. I burnt my finger. I pulled its little pj's down and the noise piece was smoking and has 2 burn holes from it being so hot," said Rich.

Consumers should immediately take the dolls from children, remove the batteries and return the doll to any Walmart store for a full refund.

To get a refund, contact Walmart at 1-800-925-6278 between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday or 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Refund requests may also be made online at https://corporate.walmart.com/recalls?povid=P1171-C1093.2766-L28.
