Auburn University's new men's basketball head coach went shirtless on campus today and all for a good cause.
Bruce Pearl participated in AU's Pi Kappa Phi fraternity dunk tank fundraiser to raise money for Push America, a nonprofit organization aimed at serving people with disabilities.
Pearl says it's all about charity, and it's important for faculty and staff to participate in student run events.
"We're going to ask students to come out and watch our team play and support and maybe travel with us," Pearl said. "So I can't ask them to engage in our program if I'm not willing to engage in their program. That's really what it is all about and it is fun. These are probably some of the things I missed about coaching as anything."
Students paid $2 to dunk Pearl. By the end of it, students were paying $10 to push the button for an automatic dunk.
