We have an update for you on a drug round up in Covington.
Last week Covington Police announced charges against 60 suspects in connection with drug trafficking in the area. The suspects are wanted for drug trafficking predominately in heroin.
On Wednesday, Covington Police Chief Spike Jones says investigators have arrested 24 of those people. They're not naming names, because the suspect round up is still in progress.
Jones said last week the investigation targeted the sale of illicit narcotics from the Madison Avenue business district and surrounding areas including Scott, Greenup, Pike and Philadelphia streets.
