(WMC-TV) - The first heavy rain storm of the spring season is expected to hit the Mid-South Thursday afternoon. In the meantime, city crews are working to fill pot holes and repair sinkholes from the cold winter season.
People who live on High Point Terrace in East Memphis are concerned about a sinkhole near Highpoint Terrace and Mimosa Avenue. They say the hole is not covered well and forces drivers to swerve quickly.
Thursday on Action News 5 at 5 p.m., Lauren Squires will talk with neighbors and the city about what is being done to repair the sinkhole and how you can help if you ever encounter one.
