A disturbance at a fraternity sponsored event in Troy led to the injuries of two people.
According to police, officers responded to the 300 block of East Walnut Street at 11:20 p.m. on Saturday. When officers arrived, they made contact with a large crowd that had been attending an event where a disturbance broke out inside the building. The crowd inside the building began to exit and that is when two subjects received their injuries. The two subjects were transported to the Troy Regional Medical Center by Ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
The event was being hosted by a local fraternity for high school teenagers and which security was provided. Both subjects that received injuries were juveniles and one 15-year-old male was arrested at the scene for disorderly conduct, but was later released to a parent. Three other males were detained at the scene, but were also released to parents or guardians.
