(WMC-TV) - Hundreds of jobs are coming to the Mid-South looking for all kinds of workers.
Jerry Heath works for Kelly Services Inc., who is hiring more than 200 people.
"It's a really good opportunity for folks looking for a good job," said Heath. "Customer service reps to production and assembly to general warehouse to using an RF scanner or doing some fork lifting driving."
Kelly Services has been around almost 70 years; the company hires temporary workers but in some cases the temp jobs can turn full time.
"The good folks that work really hard and do a really good job will be retained for any positions that will be available at the end of that project period," said Heath.
Wednesday's job fair runs from 9 a.m. until 3:30 in the afternoon at 1769 Paragon Place in Memphis. So get your resume ready if you have one, but it is not required.
"The pay is going to range from $9 an hour up to $15 an hour depending on the position. We do have a couple of supervisor and management positions that may be a little above that," said Heath.
All positions will be in the North Mississippi and Memphis area.
But you do not have to wait until Wednesday. Raleigh United Methodist Church has lined up a list of employers and recruiters for what they are calling a Super Jobs Fair Tuesday.
Organizers say more than 30 companies are scheduled to be there to take applications. The job fair begins Tuesday at 9 a.m. and will wrap up at 1 p.m.
