Cleveland (WOIO) - Four days after visiting Johnny Manziel for a personal workout in College Station, Texas, the Browns played host, entertaining Manziel, and Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr, on Wednesday.
Manziel is creating the biggest stir, arriving in Cleveland on Wednesday afternoon. He'll continue his visit with meetings throughout the day on Thursday.
The Texas A&M quarterback, and 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, is by far the most polarizing player in the draft, because of his size (5'11), as well as swagger, but other teams are showing serious interest as the May 8th NFL Draft approaches. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are said to be very interested, but they don't pick until the 7th spot. The Houston Texans hold the first overall pick, and reportedly would love to trade down, creating the opportunity for more than a few teams to move up to nab Manziel.
Carr considers himself the best quarterback in the class, and his stock continues to soar heading into the draft, but it would be a surprise if the Browns took him with the 4th overall pick.
