Local gun rights advocates proudly marched in downtown Toledo Saturday afternoon.
Members of the group Northwest Ohio Carry walked the streets with their weapons fully in view.
The group was reminding gun owners that openly carrying firearms is legal in Ohio.
Leaders of the group say they have 2,000 Facebook followers.
"It's not about letting people know that you're armed. Open carry is less restrictive. If you have to pull your firearm in a type of situation not having to remove your shirt, it's quite nice," said Marcher Ryan Anderson of Northwest Ohio Carry.
Similar walks have been held in Lima and Columbus.
