(Toledo News Now) -

Two area men and a local business are now facing serious charges after police say they were trafficking synthetic cannabinoids in the area.

Both Ahmad Jah-Allah of Dearborn and Na-Bil Shan-Nak of Perrysburg were in court Monday.  The charges stem from a search warrant executed last December at Omar of Ohio, also known as Airport Stop.

The Ohio Investigative Unit has filed 40 felony and 18 misdemeanor charges against the two businessmen and their corporation.  Agents started investigating Omar of Ohio last summer after receiving complaints of possible drug violations.

At the time of the search warrant, agents seized an estimated $139,000 in synthetic drugs and more than $61,000 in money.

The charges against the company will now be presented to the Ohio Liquor Control Commission for consideration.
