There were three violations at the Toledo Sailing Club following its May 2 visit. Inspectors noted in their report ants crawling on the kitchen counter and sink. They also saw raw shell eggs being stored above ready to eat food which is a cross contamination risk.

There were nine violations at Taco Bell on north Reynolds Road. Inspectors say staff members need more training when it comes to food safety. There's also a need for more cleaning of the facility's hood above the fryers. An organic build up was also witnessed on the Mountain Dew nozzle.

Another case of staff members in need of a refresher in food safety was found at Church's Chicken on south Reynolds Road. Ten violations were discovered. Inspectors stated in their report that several items inside the restaurant are not kept in good cleaning and sanitation.

Seven violations need to be worked through at McDonald's on Collingwood Boulevard, including a customer who likes to smoke inside the facility's public restroom.

In Maumee at Jacky's Depot on west Dudley Street, no violations were found from a recent visit.

Ice cream is in order at Shivers on Key Street. No violations were reported.
