LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Abbey Road on the River seems to get bigger and better every year and there are so many music festivals and events to check out, it's nearly impossible to get them all in this weekend.

Back in the 'Ville for it's 10th anniversary, Abbey Road on the River is celebrating with top musicians from around the world performing the top tunes of John, Paul, Ringo and George.

Pat and Royce Noble have been at the show every year since the music fest was moved from Cleveland to Louisville.

Royce Noble said, "It's not the real thing, but it's as close as your going to get!"

Pat Noble agreed, "I like everything about it," she said, "I love Beatles music and I love everybody's interpretation of Beatles music."

If you're a fan of wild animals and beer they're not only at Abbey Road on the River, the combo makes it's debut this weekend at the Louisville Zoo.

Also making a first?

This holiday is the first full weekend that the Big Four Bridge is open bringing music fans from Louisville to Jeffersonville.

"I love the (Louisville) Crashers," fan Barbie Richey said. "They're wonderful and they play great music." The ever popular band the Louisville Crashers and special guest Eight Inch Elvis kicked-off the free summer concert series at RiverStage.

Mike McAfee of Eight Inch Elvis said, "The Big Four opening is huge for us and we're all excited because we're a Jeffersonville band so this is something that we've all been waiting for."

Some fans love the music and the high quality sound system so much, they got to the event hours before it started to plant their lounge chairs.

Music fan Mark White said it's never too loud despite having seats near the stage, "Not for us," he laughed, "we're old rockers!" 

White's wife Marlaine agreed RiverStage will be packed at every event, "It will be a hot spot this summer."
