TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A Toledo man has been indicted for aggravated vehicular homicide after a single vehicle crash on the east side.

Brian Hackett-Foster was indicted on aggravated vehicular homicide and aggravated vehicular assault charges by a Lucas County grand jury Friday.

Police say Hackett-Foster was driving with two women in the back seat of the vehicle when he lost control and the car hit a pole at the intersection of Main Street and Sixth Street around 10 p.m. on May 25.

Maxine Brumley, 30, was hurt in the accident and died the next day. Hackett-Foster was also hospitalized, and arrested after his release.

Police suspect Hackett-Foster was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the accident, according to a police report. Hackett-Foster did not have a valid driver's license, but has not been charged with driving under suspension or driving under the influence.
