TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo Police say a reward of $2,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of two men.

The suspects are wanted for a string of business robberies around the city of Toledo since May 5.

The pair may be responsible for more than a dozen robberies in east and south Toledo.

Police say this string of around a dozen carryout robberies is such a high priority for the department that they have a team of investigators and other members of the force devoted to the case.

"These are obviously violent people. They've assaulted clerks now. They've shot at clerks so these are guys that obviously don't care if they hurt somebody. Because of that, it makes it more dangerous, more of a priority for us so we can arrest them and get them behind bars where they belong," said Sergeant Joe Heffernan.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStopper at 419-255-1111.
