TIFFIN, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The three suspects accused in starting a fatal house fire in Fostoria were arraigned at the Seneca County Common Pleas Court in Tiffin June 18. Shey Weiker, Charles Schaeffer and Timothy Hall are facing murder and arson charges.

The trio is accused of starting a fire last month on Poplar Street in that killed Daniel Marker and Tara Lynn Vance and injured one other person.

The attorney for Schaeffer entered a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. Earlier Wednesday morning the attorney for Weiker entered the same plea. The third suspect, Hall, entered a not guilty plea on Tuesday. Schaeffer's wife spoke to us exclusively.

"I'm scared for him, and I know he didn't do this. And I just want to do what I can to help him through everything. He's my whole life. We've been together for 26 years, and I just don't want to lose him," said Karen Schaeffer, wife of Charles Schaeffer.

Schaeffer was transported to a diagnostics and treatment center in Toledo for a competency testing. A future court date has yet to be set for all three suspects.
