A "hidden cash" craze has had people scrambling for hidden envelopes of money in the western United States. But now, that craze has made its way to northwest Ohio.
Great Lakes Credit Union says they will be hiding $50 every day for 2 weeks in Toledo, Sylvania or Perrysburg.
Toledoans can "Like" Great Lakes Credit Union on Facebook and follow them on Twitter (@GreatLakesCUInc) for the clues as to where the cash will be hidden throughout the cities. Two to three clues will be posted on Facebook and Twitter daily.
When the cash is found, scavengers are asked to take a photo of their findings and upload them to Twitter and Facebook, so Great Lakes Credit Union and other scavenger hunters are aware of the findings.
If you find the cash, share your find with the hashtag #GLCUHiddenCash
Wednesday June 25 is the first day for the local hidden cash craze. Good luck!
