TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A Toledo summertime tradition continues this weekend.

The 49th annual Crosby Festival of the Arts opened on Saturday at the Toledo Botanical Garden.

There are 203 artists this year.

When they say there's something for everybody at the festival, they mean it.

"I love the artwork. I love that there's all different kinds of artwork. Different things to choose from. I love it" said art lover Judy Hanes.

The event has become the region's premiere art festival.

Festival-goers will continue to see stunning work from many exciting new artists as well as returning favorites like glass sculptor Barry Davis of Celina.

He's been selling here for fifteen years.

"It's the Glass City so I have collectors who buy from me every year. This show for me is better than Chicago, New York or Miami" says Barry.

The festival continues on Sunday from 10 AM to 4PM.

General admission tickets are $8 and children under 12 are free.

A free shuttle will be taking people to the festival from Meijer on Central Ave.
