FRANKFOR, KY (WFLX) - A federal judge tossed out Kentucky's ban on same sex marriage Tuesday. The judge ruled the ban was unconstitutional and that it violated the guarantee of equal protection under the law.
Dominique James and Tim Love were plaintiffs in the case to overturn the ban. Same-sex marriage is now legal in 19 states and the District of Columbia.
