The Lucas County Coroner's Office has ruled that the death of a 27-year-old last April was a homicide.
Robert Turner, Jr., was found dead outside of Malibu's Bar on April 12. The coroner's office says Turner died as a result of a physical altercation. People who live near the bar say they are outraged and still in shock.
"I heard that this man got beat up, got really hurt, got stomped on the head," said Savianna Sample, a local resident. "They need to go to jail for life for doing that!"
Police say they're working hard to find the person or people responsible for Turner's death, but no arrests have been made yet. Sample says she's worried about what else could happen.
"I'm afraid that something is going to happen to me because it's right over here and I live right by the bar, so it's scary," she said. "It's going to happen again, I already know. Because they're out there. They're not in jail yet."
