A former Clay High School Athletic Trainer who pled no contest to sexual battery charges will serve one year in prison.
Melinda Rober, 35, was accused of sexual misconduct involving at least 2 students.
Rober was sentenced to two 12 month stints in prison, to be served at the same time. The former athletic trainer will also serve 5 years probation and register as a tier 3 sex offender for the rest of her life.
Oregon Police Chief Mike Navarre said Rober admitted to having sex with at least two students under the age of 18 during her 10-year career at the school.
