American flags waving in Findlay is not an uncommon sight, but seeing those
flags vandalized was something that shocked many residents of Flag City.
Rhonda Firestone have owned the Tuffy Service Center on Tiffin Avenue in Findlay
for 10 years. Every day their business is open, they make sure the flag is
because it is Flag City, and I believe everybody should fly their flag here in
town," explained Rhonda.
Firestones say their parking lot is always filled with loyal customers, so when
they heard someone had vandalized
the American flags on Main Street, they felt they had to step in. On
Thursday, they purchased flags to replace the ruined ones.

Firestones feel the entire ordeal will leave Findlay for the better.

think that a couple of individuals probably made a bad choice, and with all

wouldn't. But I think it's motivated people and I think we'll see more flags
