Ingredients:
1 12 ounce package skinless polish sausage
1 12 ounce package skinless smoked sausage
1 46 ounce Dei Fratelli Vegetable Juice (5 cups)
2 28 ounce cans Dei Fratelli Petite Diced Tomatoes
1 medium green bell pepper - chopped
3 stalks celery - chopped
1 medium sized onion - chopped
1 Tablespoon crushed red pepper (add a pinch more if you like it hot!)
2 Tablespoons olive oil or vegetable oil
1 Tablespoons sugar 1 ½ cup water
1 pound box of fettuccine
Instructions:
In a large stockpot, combine all ingredients except water and fettuccine, bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and let simmer for approx. 1 hour, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
When sausage is plump and vegetables tender, add the water and bring to a low boil.
Next, add fettuccine and cook until the noodles are done (about half an hour), stirring frequently to prevent the noodles from sticking.
