Paul Harvey died this week. That is a sad thing for America.
Mr. Harvey was one of the most famous radio personalities ever. He embodied so much of what we once admired. He was strong and good and positive. He was unashamed of his faith. He believed in God, in family and in the idea of being an American.
He was there when others were afraid to show up. He was an American original.
Mr. Harvey was a great storyteller; his stories touched millions of people over several generations.
He will be missed.
And now Paul Harvey really does know "the rest of the story."
